Flava Bona Pretiosior est Rubinibus made it's debut at the 40th running of the Cambridge Beer Festival. In a festival full of ruby beers (ruby anniversary) we thought it would be fun to have a strong pale beer. The name is an elegant latin translation of a biblical misquote "A good blonde is more precious than rubies" — thanks are due to Charlie Farquharson-Roberts for unmangling my clumsy translation attempts. FB proved very popular with several notable online beer commentators pronouncing it their Beer of the Festival.
